Thanks so much for stopping by my site! Here's a few things about me...

I grew up in Brenham, right in the heart of Texas and home of Blue Bell ice cream. Not surprising, you will always find a half-gallon of The Great Divide in my freezer... yumm!! I love spending time with my family and friends and playing with my dogs. I also like to travel whenever possible but when I'm not you can find me dancing and singing around my house or cuddled up with my oversized cup of hazelnut coffee.

I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University and am certified to teach EC-6th grade and ESL. It brings me so much joy to see my life-long passion for learning becoming a reality. I have been extremely fortunate to learn from some phenomenal educators. Since the start of this journey I have worked with a wide variety of children ranging from preschoolers, gifted students, students with special needs, students from high socio-economic populations, at-risk students, ESL students, etc. These experiences have shaped my philosophy that all children are capable of learning best in a safe, positive learning environment. 

My hope is that this website will serve as an outlet to share my ideas and experiences as a teacher!
